The GEPARD vehicle is the result of collaboration between TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE (TDV), Dajbych 4×4, and other Czech manufacturers. Its design is based on the proven Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series chassis, available in 4×4 and 6×6 configurations.
GEPARD is a light combat vehicle primarily intended for special and airborne units. It emphasizes high mobility, substantial payload capacity, and sufficient interior space for a six-member crew, including equipment and armament.
The vehicle is powered by a 4.5‑liter Toyota V8 diesel engine, delivering 189 kW of power and 454 Nm of torque. It is available with manual, automatic, or continuously variable VDS transmission. GEPARD can tow braked trailers weighing up to 3.5 tons.
GEPARD is a mobile platform with exceptional on-road and off-road performance. Its total weight reaches up to 6,000 kg, with a payload capacity of up to 1,900 kg. This allows for extended deployment without frequent logistical support. The vehicle features all-wheel drive, differential locks, a run-flat emergency drive system, and a blackout system.
