ARMORED CABINS

TDV also provides modifications to cabins and their interiors to ensure compatibility with standard non-armored versions. Cabins are available in various configurations, including two-door and four-door variants, with crew capacity ranging from three to five members.

Individual Requirements

TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE (TDV) develops and manufactures armoured cabins of various degrees of ballistic and mine protection according to STANAG standards for various model series of Tatra vehicles, including their modifications and adaptation of interiors to be compatible with the interiors of standard cabins. Specifically, the Tatra Force, Tatra Phoenix and Tatra Tactic series.

SAFETY

Armored cabins produced by TDV represent cutting‑edge technology and offer the highest level of ballistic and mine protection in their class. TDV has its own R&D facilities, and cabin development includes thorough testing of ballistic resistance and blast protection under realistic conditions. These tests are carried out in cooperation with specialist laboratories and certified state authorities. The cabin design also allows for the installation of weapon mounts for crew armament intended to protect the vehicle, and can accommodate the integration of remotely operated weapon stations.

FLEXIBILITY

TDV manufactures armored cabins in various configurations and levels of protection. Two‑ and four‑door variants are available, accommodating two to five personnel. The level of ballistic and mine protection is tailored to customer requirements, ranging from Level 1 up to Level 3 and higher according to STANAG 4569 standards. The cabins can be installed on a wide range of vehicles — from combat systems such as howitzers, rocket launchers, or air defense systems, to command vehicles and carriers of electronic and communication systems, as well as logistical, support, or engineering vehicles.

COMFORT

The ergonomics and instrumentation of armored cabins are fully or largely identical to standard cabins, allowing crews to operate both vehicle variants easily and efficiently. The interior is equipped with specialized seats that protect the crew from under-vehicle blasts while providing high driving comfort over long distances, without negatively affecting the crew’s combat readiness.
