Thanks to its partnership with GDELS, TDV possesses the know-how and technology for the development, production, and modernization of Pandur II 8×8 vehicles. It is the exclusive manufacturer and supplier of these vehicles for selected markets as well as for the Czech Army.
TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE develops and manufactures the Pandur II 8×8 in a variety of versions according to user requirements. Examples include infantry fighting vehicle, armored personnel carrier, fire support vehicle, ambulance, command vehicle, self‑propelled mortar, recovery vehicle, communications vehicle, reconnaissance vehicle, and others. Individual variants can be equipped with different manned or unmanned turrets and weapon stations with a flexible armament suite that includes light or heavy machine guns in 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm calibers, grenade launchers or cannons from 30 mm up to 105 mm, as well as other combat systems such as mortars, air‑defense kits, and anti‑tank guided missiles.
The Pandur II 8×8 is a versatile wheeled platform with an armored hull, produced in a variety of configurations. TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE (TDV) owns the know-how and technologies for the production, development, modernization, and conversion of different Pandur II 8×8 variants under a license from General Dynamics European Land Systems. The Pandur II 8×8 represents one of the key pillars of the Czech Army’s ground forces, where it is deployed in multiple versions and configurations. It is also in service with foreign armed forces. TDV is currently developing a new generation of the vehicle, known as the PANDUR II 8×8 EVO.
