TATRA DEFENCE focuses on the development of special wheeled armored vehicles, armored cabins, and specialized superstructures. In cooperation with experts, research institutions, and technology partners, sophisticated solutions are created that exceed the standard requirements of the defense industry.
Our design teams continuously work on innovation, modernization, and optimization of technical solutions. The result is products that meet the highest international standards in ballistic, anti-mine, and chemical-biological protection – such as the PANDUR 8×8 EVO, TITUS 6×6 vehicles, or our own development platform TADEAS, fully developed in the Czech Republic.
TATRA DEFENCE designs and manufactures armored cabins for TATRA chassis intended for various types of military and special vehicles. The cabins are engineered with an emphasis on ballistic and anti-mine protection up to Level 4 according to STANAG 4569, while their design allows adaptation to different TATRA chassis model series.
Our cabins combine high durability, low weight, and an ergonomic interior, ensuring maximum crew safety and optimal driving comfort. Thanks to continuous innovation, we are able to adapt the cabins to new technologies, weapon system integration, and modern electronic equipment.
The TADEAS (Tatra Defence Armoured Solution) armored vehicle represents an in-house development project by TATRA DEFENCE, created in cooperation with Tatra Trucks.
It was developed in response to the increasing demands of modern armed forces for a flexible, durable, and versatile armored vehicle. TADEAS is fully designed and developed in the Czech Republic, with a strong focus on high protection, ergonomics, and modularity.
TADEAS is a multi-purpose platform that can be configured in a wide range of variants — command, communication, engineering, reconnaissance, medical, repair, or intervention.
Thanks to its modular design, it can be further customized to meet specific customer requirements, from interior equipment to protection level and armament. The construction also enables rail and air transport, ensuring full strategic mobility of the vehicle.
