TDV develops and manufactures specially reinforced box superstructures for Tatra 4×4, 6×6, and 8×8 chassis. The superstructures are equipped with Level 1 and 2 ballistic and mine protection in accordance with STANAG 4569 standards.
A reference program in this area is the STARKOM vehicles for electronic warfare and jamming on Tatra Force chassis, for which TDV developed a special reinforced superstructure containing operator stations and state‑of‑the‑art electronic equipment. For this project TDV also developed an automatic vehicle leveling system. Additionally, TDV develops and manufactures reinforced aluminum containers with a wide range of applications.
In addition to producing wheeled armored vehicles and armored cabins for Tatra trucks, TATRA DEFENCE VEHICLE (TDV) also designs and manufactures specialized reinforced box bodies intended for installation on Tatra chassis in 4×4, 6×6, and 8×8 configurations and beyond, including their modifications. These superstructures feature ballistic and mine protection at levels 1 and 2 in accordance with the STANAG 4569 standard and are designed for various purposes such as carriers of electronic systems, workshop vehicles, support platforms, or command posts.
